being a parent in today's day & age

basically we are just a couple of thirty-something moms. and we only have one child apiece (at least for now). we don't claim or pretend to be any sort of experts on the subject of parenting, nor do we think we have, or might have, all the answers. but we are learning and figuring it out, day by day, step by step, through trial and error, just like the gazillions of other moms out there. and between the present state of the environment, economy, and everything else tricky and complicated about living in the new millenium, we believe being open to the advice of others, as well as sharing information on what works and doesn't work, can help make us all the best mothers we can possibly be, and help our children be the best (and healthiest) people they can possibly be.

raisingemerson.com is for the countless other moms who agree.
